Tadaima! A Community Virtual Pilgrimage, June 13 – August 16, 2020 (opening ceremony, Saturday, June 13, 2020)

In response to the cancellations this year of the pilgrimages to the Japanese American incarceration camps, the Japanese American Memorial Pilgrimages (JAMP) is hosting virtual pilgrimages spread across nine themed weeks. “Tadaima! (I’m Home!)” will feature pre-recorded and live-streamed content, as well as opportunities to engage with presenters and gather, virtually, as a community.  This is a collaborative undertaking that brings together representatives from many different parts of the Nikkei community as well as scholars, artists, and educators committed to actively memorializing the history of the Japanese American incarceration during WWII.

For more information and if you would like to register for this event, visit the JAMP website at: https://www.jampilgrimages.com/.
